Eisberg’s success story
Eisberg is the result of a fusion of two Swiss vegetable growers and has inspired customers with its freshness and quality since 1972.
Originally starting out as vegetable growers in the same vegetable growing region, the two companies Gastro Star (founded in 1972) and Eisberg Switzerland (founded in 1976) initially developed independently and inspired their customers in the food service, system catering and retail sectors with their pioneering fresh, pre-cut and ready-to-eat bagged salads.
Our salads have been popular in many regions of Europe for a long time – in areas where our customers live. Our facilities have long held a reputation for their state-of-the-art production technology and the Eisberg Group is a pioneer when it comes to technological progress. But it is our closeness to nature, the environment and our customers, our passion for healthy natural food and our determination to apply Swiss quality criteria consistently wherever we operate that have always been, and will continue to be, the cornerstones of Eisberg’s philosophy.
