Its European focus is on fresh pasta and ready-made meals for retailers and on deep-frozen pasta and vegetable produce for the food service sector. Hilcona supplies a broad range of ultra-fresh and fresh products to Switzerland’s retail market while, for the food service sector, a varied range of deep-frozen products is supplemented by selected fresh products and intelligent buffet solutions for the hotel industry.

Hilcona started life with the foundation of the tinned food company by Toni Hilti in 1935. Hilcona successfully entered the European market with the production of deep-frozen vegetables and the first fresh pasta dishes. Since the turn of the century, Hilcona has supplied Switzerland’s impulse buyers with a broad range of ultra-fresh and fresh convenience products. Hilcona became a member of Bell Food Group Ltd. in 2017.
