Doris Leuthard nominated as member of the Board of Directors of the Bell Food Group

The Board of Directors of the Bell Food Group has nominated Doris Leuthard as the new member of the Board of Directors. She will be proposed for election to the General Meeting on 16 April 2019 as the replacement for the serving Board member, Reto Conrad.
In Doris Leuthard, the Board of Directors of the Bell Food Group will gain an experienced director with good national and international networks. Doris Leuthard (55) was a National Councillor from 1999 to 2006, and the leader of the Swiss Christian Democratic People's Party (CVP) from 2004 to 2006. She served as a member of the Federal Council from 1 August 2006 to 31 December 2018. From 2010 to 2018, she was the minister responsible for the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC). From 2006 to 2010, she was responsible for the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER). In 2009 and 2016 she served as Vice-President and in 2010 and 2017 as President of the Swiss Confederation.
